IN THE MATTER OF “THE TRAMWAYS ACT, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to the Hutt County Council by William Thomas Strand, John Norris Strand, and Charles Strand, of Lower Hutt, Sawmillers (trading as “Strand Brothers”) for a license to construct a private tramway on and along the road leading from the Naenae Road past the properties of Messieurs F. Westbury and A. E. Evans through section numbered 43 on the plan of the Hutt District and section numbered 230 on the said plan for a distance of about 54 chains, and that a plan of the proposed tramway may be inspected at the office of Messieurs Gray and Jackson, No. 51, Lambton Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on each weekday (except Saturday, when the hours are 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.), and that the said application and any objection thereto will be taken into consideration by the Hutt County Council at the first meeting of the Council to be held at Wellington after the expiration of thirty days after the 13th day of December, 1905.
