Wainuiomata Trail Park features a variety of trails, from gentle ascents to more challenging downhill routes. The trails are nestled amidst rejuvenating native forest and a key wetland area.
Entry to the park can be made from several points: Waiu Street, the peak of Wainuiomata Hill Road, and the Te Whiti Riser at Te Whiti Park. Additionally, connections are available from the East Harbour Regional Park and the ECNZ road, which link up through various firebreaks.
