McDonald’s opened its restaurant in Wainuiomata, on April 13, 1999. Initially, the restaurant was connected to the Wainuiomata Mall. However, following the mall’s demolition in 2021, it underwent refurbishment and sits as a standalone building located opposite Woolworths supermarket, on The Strand.
