McDonald’s opened its restaurant in Wainuiomata, on April 13, 1999. Initially, the restaurant was connected to the Wainuiomata Mall. However, following the mall’s demolition, it underwent refurbishment and sits as a standalone building located opposite Woolworths supermarket, on The Strand.
