Bryan Heath Park in Wainuiomata is a sports ground that hosts cricket and football (soccer).
Bryan Heath Park, established in the 1950s on Fitzherbert Road in Wainuiomata, serves as a sports ground for cricket in the summer and football (soccer) in the winter. The park has also hosted hockey in the past.
The park is named after Bryan Heath (1891–1962), who became President of the Wainuiomata Cricket Club in 1951. Heath was a farmer in Moores Valley from the 1920s to the 1960s and served as a councillor for the Wainuiomata Riding of the Hutt County Council from 1946 to 1956. He later held the position of Hutt County Council Chairman from 1957 to 1958.
Before being developed into a park, the site was overgrown with gorse, but volunteers worked to clear the land.
