This photograph looks along Main Road in Wainuiomata around the year 1969. Visible in the scene are several older model vehicles, the original Main Road Bridge, the entrance to Rotary Park, the fire station, and school buildings that no longer exist, including a former classroom and the old school hall. On Homedale Road, the old public telephone box can also be seen in the distance.
