Old Gate at Dick’s Hill

This old gate dating back to the beginnings of suburbia stood atop Dick’s Hill, until recently. Located on the ridgeline above 33 Hair Street or thereabouts. It has since been dismantled due to the ridgeline here being bulldozed from the property below.

In years gone by, you could walk from Hair Street up to the ridge where the gate was and over the otherside to Bull Avenue.
