The ranger’s office in Wainuiomata Regional Park is housed in a building with historical significance. Originally constructed to accommodate staff involved in the area’s water catchment operations, this structure has been repurposed over time. Today, it serves as both the park ranger’s office and the Wainuiomata Water Museum, which showcases artefacts and exhibits related to the region’s water collection history.
