Development of houses took place in the 1960s in Sunny Grove. However, this photo from 1958 shows at least one house on the street. The bottom part of Sunny Grove cannot be seen in this photo so it may not be the only house on the street. However, one can imagine taking a photo when the first house was built.
Before housing development, Skerretts Creek which flows down the right hand side of the street (in the photo) meandered down the valley from side to side.
