From the Wainui Lookout, perched on the western hills dividing Wainuiomata from Lower Hutt, you can view the undulating hills and the distant peaks of Remutaka Forest Park. In the foreground, you can see the houses in the Parkway area. On calm days, mist frequently blankets Wainuiomata, with the hills trapping the low-lying clouds.
