The ECNZ Power Pylon Road, also known as the ECNZ Pylon Track, is a service road built by the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand to maintain power pylons along the ridge between the Hutt Valley and Wainuiomata. The track can be walked from Seaview then up the steep hill close to the top of the Wainuiomata Hill. From there, you can walk over Wainuiomata Road via Pukeatua Bridge and connect back onto the track before heading to upper Moores Valley. After that, it leaves Wainuiomata and heads into Whitemans Valley in Upper Hutt.

Constructed primarily between the late 1950s and 1960s, the road now resembles a track in some areas, becoming overgrown in places. Although the track is not well maintained, it is still accessible for walking and mountain biking. Smaller tracks branch off to individual pylons, and the track can be linked with various other trails in Wainuiomata and the Hutt Valley for extended hikes and rides to other Lower Hutt suburbs.
