Maintenance Track is an old overgrown section of Upper Road that runs parallel with Reservoir Road.
Maintenance Track was once a part of Upper Road or Upper Track, running parallel to Reservoir Road. Although it is overgrown today, you can make your way through the dense vegetation along this section. The part that remains as a road is private and secured by a gate with warning signs. This road eventually climbs the hill above the Reservoir Road car park, where the overgrown and unused section begins, now reclaimed by nature. If you find this track, you can follow it as long as you’re comfortable navigating through trees and bushes. The track ends near the junction of Whitcher Grove and Reservoir Road, but the bush is nearly impenetrable at this point, so you’ll need to either retrace your steps or descend a steep slope to reach Reservoir Road.
