THE VENTURI METER

Sir, one of Nelson’s 7000 engineers refers to Wellington, suggesting that the Empire City does not supply. This suggestion is incorrect. There is a Venturi meter at the intake on the large main at Wainui-o-mata, and the same type of meter has been selected for the new Orongorongo main. I am, etc., interested.
