Wainuiomata has countless unnamed tributaries and small creeks that feed into its better-known rivers.
The Wainuiomata River is fed by countless unnamed tributaries, as well as several larger named creeks, including Skerretts Creek, Nikau Creek and George Creek to name a few.
Some of the tributaries flowing into these larger creeks are substantial waterways in their own right, and may also have tributaries of their own. As these have no official names, their locations and courses are described here instead.
