A fellow adventurer heads out on a rock-hopping adventure up Skerretts Creek, passing several remnants of the Kittyhawk aircraft that crashed in the area in 1943, killing pilot Tom Marchant. Pieces of the wreckage remain scattered throughout the bush.
Near the top of the creek, he finally reaches the main fuselage, which slid about 50 metres downhill from the original crash site. The aircraft came to rest upside down and was still partly buried when it was rediscovered in the 1950s.
